PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER

- Collaborate with global engineering and operations teams on new product launches.
- Assist with product testing and evaluation, which may involve thermal, photometric, electrical, structural and environmental analysis.
- Manage part numbers and product specs with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
- Facilitate new product certifications with a variety of testing laboratories, including UL
- Maintain product certifications on an ongoing basis.
- Assist engineering team with data management and modeling.
- Manage product label and packaging information with a variety of global contract manufacturers.
- Maintain database of product information.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or related)
- 2+ years of experience in a related field
- Knowledge of UL and UL testing processes a plus
- Project management experience is extremely helpful
- Basic knowledge or and concept of business applications such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and enterprise data flow
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent teamwork, communications and interpersonal skills
- Ability and interest in rolling up sleeves and working collaboratively while taking ownership of individual projects
