Here, you will make an impact by:Developing medium and high voltage cable accessories, including connectors, terminations, and joints for global marketsCollaborating with global cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, portfolio management, quality department, and project managementContributing to technology scouting and product roadmapsLeading product development projects from building business case till commercializationDirect interaction with end-customers to drive innovation and solve markets challengesEnsuring proper product lifecycle documentation including test reporting and failure analysisContributing to the continuous improvement of design processes and methodologiesBuilding a network in the company and actively distributing your knowledge and expertiseYour Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:Master-s degree in Electrical, Energy Engineering, Power Systems, or related fieldSubstantial experience in energy industryExperience of designing and testing of electrical insulation and electrical connectionsExperience in product development for electrical energy and high voltage testingStrong knowledge of high or medium voltage electrical systems, insulation materials, and manufacturing processesFluent German and EnglishAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed further in this role include:Proficiency in industry standards and regulations, with experience in global high voltage projectsExcellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with advanced testing methodologiesStrong communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearlyAbility to work independently and collaboratively in international teamsEnthusiasm for learning, prototyping, and engaging with standardization organizationsJob specifics:Location: Neuss, GermanyBased on siteFull TimeTravel: may include up to 15 %Does this opportunity and our innovative 3M culture align with your career aspirations?
