Product Developer/ CAD Technician (m/w/d)

Then join us in designing the sun protection products of tomorrow and become part of our team as Product Developer / CAD Technician (m/w/d).

Location: Bremen

Start: As soon as possible

As a technical all-rounder, you will enrich the development team and actively network with purchasing, sales and marketing.

Responsibilities:

• Development and design of new product components as well as their continuous further development
• (focus on plastic components)
• Creation of 3D design data for product components and their processing tools
• Coordination and support of prototype construction
• Development and implementation of test procedures including evaluation and documentation.
• Preparation of product-related and sales-supporting documents, such as test reports, operating
• and production instructions
• Technical support for sales and marketing – customer-oriented and solution-focused
• QA-oriented procurement support
• Market and product research

About You:

• Training as a product designer or mechanical engineer
• Experience in the design of plastic parts, extruded aluminium profiles and bent sheet metal parts
• Confident handling of 3D CAD programs, preferably Autodesk Inventor
• Sound knowledge of MS Office applications
• Ability to document technical contexts in a clear and structured manner
• Independent, solution-oriented and reliable way of working
• Strong organizational competence and ability to work in a team
• Willingness to travel to customers, suppliers and trade fairs
• Good written and spoken English skills

This is an on site position, for 5 days per week. Applicants must be prepared and able to travel to our Blocker site in Bremen, so living locally is advantageous.
