Job Description
In this role, you will:
Serve as the application point of contact for assisting customers in using Infineon power semiconductor products in aircraft, defense platforms, scientific experiments, and spacecraft.
Execute application tests to verify if the latest technology meets specifications and is ready for market release (Fit For Use).
Participate in radiation effects discussions with customers interested in using Infineon high reliability products.
Develop and test application schematics, printed circuit boards, datasheets, reference designs, and design-in collaterals.
Understand application requirements to suggest existing products or propose new products under development.
Collaborate internally with Application, R&D, and Test Engineering teams for successful product launches.
Document test procedures, programs, schematics, and results systematically.
Your Profile
You are best suited for this role if you have:
B.Sc or M.Sc in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on power electronics and 5 to 10 years of experience.
Experience with power supply design, motor drive, and power semiconductor components.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Publication experience is a plus.
Hands-on experience with laboratory test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, and source meters.
Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools.
Proficiency in software such as LabView, Python, or JavaScript.
Knowledge of MATLAB, PSPICE, and ANSYS as simulation tools.
Ability to use PCB layout software like Altium or ORCAD.
Highly organized with good presentation skills.
US Citizenship or Permanent Residence status.
