What the Role Is

The Procurement Supply Chain Analyst resolves complex supply chain challenges and enhances tools and processes to improve purchasing KPIs, supporting operations and program execution to meet operational commitments and standards.

The ideal candidate will be self-driven, a forward thinker, strong interpersonal skills, the ability to multi-task, and be a results-oriented, creative thinker with a thorough understanding of supply chain best practices, purchasing and inventory processes, warehouse operations, and project management.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of inventory and logistics trends to optimize supply planning, ensuring inventory levels and sourcing strategies are aligned with projected demand
  • Collect, analyze, and synthesize complex operational data to produce detailed reports and presentations that provide management with strategic insights from a logistics perspective.
  • Support processes related to new product development, inventory management, order fulfillment, and product returns
  • Evaluate and improve procurement strategies (decrease cost, time or waste).
  • KPI evaluation and reporting.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve logistics issues, including delivery delays and transportation incidents, to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Implement process and procedural improvements to streamline work and increase productivity.
  • Support the design and implementation of system processes and protocols to ensure reliable logistics and inventory management as measured by fill rates, on time delivery, inventory levels, service levels, and QA compliance.
  • Manage cross-functional collaboration to manage sourcing processes that ensure critical material availability while mitigating risks to business continuity and supply reliability
  • Conduct cost analysis, scenario planning, and benchmarking to support data-driven decision-making
  • Determine delivery quantities and timing to optimize supply chain efficiency.
  • Work with warehouse and operations for accurate inventory counts.
  • Develop standardized threshold analysis.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central software
  • Understanding/Experience of Supply Chain
  • Understanding of accounting and finance principles.
  • Multi-unit experience
  • Ability to work independently and to communicate effectively both orally and via written reports and analysis
  • Proficient in data mining, Dynamics, Power BI, AI, SQL, & Excel
