Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist with a strong background in sourcing and purchasing to join our international team. The ideal candidate will bring solid procurement experience, strong negotiation skills, and a collaborative mindset to support our global operations.


Responsibilities

  • Supplier Sourcing Identify, evaluate, and qualify potential suppliers to ensure best value, quality, and reliability.
  • Purchase Order Management Process and track purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Supplier Performance Monitoring Monitor and assess supplier performance against KPIs such as cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with operators, regional managers and technical team to align procurement activities with business needs.
  • Data Analysis Leverage data analysis to identify cost trends and areas for improvements, contributing to cost control strategies.
  • Cost Optimization Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements across procurement activities.
  • Compliance & Governance Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
  • Market Intelligence Stay updated on market trends, pricing movements, and supplier innovations to support procurement strategy.


Skills Capabilities Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or sourcing. Shipping experience is preferable.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or related field.
  • Charismatic and reliable team player, able to work effectively across desks and time zones in an international organization.
  • Familiarity with maritime business software systems.
  • Solid understanding of procurement processes, contracts, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
