Procurement Specialist

Albany, Georgia (Commutable from: Lee County, Sylvester, Dougherty County, Sasser, Putney, Baconton, Bronwood)

As part of their ongoing commitment to operational excellence, they are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to enhance sourcing strategies, optimize inventory levels, and maintain strong supplier relationships.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing purchase orders, negotiating supplier contracts, analyzing market trends for cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies. You will collaborate closely with Planning, Production, and Finance teams to align purchasing decisions with operational and budgetary requirements.

This position is ideal for a Procurement professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and wants to make a measurable impact on supply chain performance and site efficiency.

The Role

• Onsite role, Monday – Friday
• Evaluate purchase requisitions and prepare purchase order proposals for approval
• Manage procurement activities in alignment with site budgets and cost targets
• Maintain optimal inventory levels in SAP and mitigate production interruptions

The Candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
• SAP / ERP experience
• Procurement experience.
