Job Description
Robertson Bell are working with a Public Sector organisation to recruit a Procurement Manager. The role is to establish and drive procurement excellence across the organisation during a period of significant change and integration.

Key responsibilities:
You'll own end-to-end procurement delivery, managing supplier relationships, contract performance, and strategic sourcing. This is a hands-on role where you'll lead a small team while building capability and developing team members for future growth. Further details include:
- Lead all procurement activity in compliance with the Procurement Act 2023
- Manage contract lifecycle, performance monitoring, and supplier relationships
- Develop procurement strategy and drive continuous improvement
- Line manage and develop a team of 2-3 procurement professionals
- Advise senior leadership on commercial decisions and contract extensions
- Consolidate and optimise supplier contracts across the organisation
What They're Looking For
- Proven experience in public sector procurement (PA23 knowledge essential)
- MCIPS qualification (or equivalent)
- Demonstrated team management experience
- Strategic mindset with ability to deliver day-to-day and plan ahead
- Strong stakeholder management skills
