Senior Procurement Manager\n\nLooking to take the lead on high-impact procurement projects in a complex, fast-moving environment?\n\nWe’re hiring a Senior Procurement Manager based in York. You’ll shape strategy, influence senior stakeholders, and deliver real commercial value across the business.\n\nThe Role – Senior Procurement Manager\n\nAs a Senior Procurement Manager, you will lead end-to-end procurement activity across indirect categories.\n\nYou will manage tenders, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance within a regulated framework. This role blends commercial thinking with governance and stakeholder engagement.\n\nYou will also lead a small team and act as a trusted partner to internal business areas.\n\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\n\nLead full procurement lifecycle from strategy to contract award\nRun competitive tenders and supplier negotiations\nDeliver cost savings and value-for-money solutions\nBuild strong relationships with stakeholders across the business\nManage supplier performance, KPIs, and contract reviews\nEnsure compliance with procurement regulations and policies\nSupport digital procurement systems and process improvements\nLine manage and develop a team of procurement professionals\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\nProven experience as a Senior Procurement Manager or equivalent\nStrong track record in commercial negotiations\nBackground in regulated or public sector environments including a strong understanding of PA23.\nKnowledge of procurement frameworks and governance\nExperience managing contracts and supplier relationships\nConfident working with stakeholders at all levels\nLeadership experience with direct reports\nStrong analytical and systems skills (Oracle Fusion experience ideal)\n\nWhy Join?\n\nInfluence procurement strategy at a senior level\nWork in a complex, high-value environment\nBe part of ongoing procurement transformation\n\nAbout the Opportunity\n\nThis Senior Procurement Manager role offers real visibility and impact.
