Join us as a Project Procurement Manager to lead supplier strategy, sourcing, and commercial delivery across multiple UK infrastructure and technology projects.\n\nResponsibilities: \n\nOrchestrate all project procurement activities from bid phase to project delivery \nDrive early procurement involvement to optimise cost, design, technical feasibility, and supply‑chain resilience \nEnsure full compliance with Yunex Procurement, Logistics & Sourcing policy, LoA requirements, and internal governance standards \nActively participate and support in major project milestones including kick-offs, workshops, LoA meetings, lessons learnt, and project closure \nDevelop project‑specific procurement strategies and supplier packages \nAct as the primary procurement interface to the bid or project team, ensuring transparency on supplier strategy, risks, and commercial status \nCoordinate supplier engagement, sourcing activities, and negotiations in collaboration with the relevant commodity managers \nEnsure full compliance with ESG, supplier approval, and governance standards \nCollaborate closely with internal stakeholders in multiple departments \nDrive cost optimisation, supply‑chain risk mitigation, and contract performance \nManage supplier escalations and ensure timely resolution through the appropriate procurement or management channels \n\nQualifications & Experience: \n\nExperienced procurement professional with project experience, preferably in transport, engineering, or technology sectors \nSolid understanding of structured procurement processes, sourcing governance, and commercial negotiations \nAbility to understand technical specifications and translate them into supplier requirements \nStrong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration abilities \nProficiency with ERP systems (SAP an advantage), procurement tools, and data platforms \nProfessional procurement qualification, CIPS or equivalent \n\nKey Competencies\n\nStrong stakeholder management and influencing skills \nStructured and disciplined approach to procurement governance \nAbility to translate project requirements into effective procurement strategies \nHigh level of ownership, accountability, and delivery focus \nClear and confident communication at project and senior stakeholder level \n\nWe offer: \n\nCompetitive base salary plus annual bonus \n26 days holiday (rising to 29 with service) \n37.5-hour working week \nExcellent pension scheme with up to 10% employer contribution \nFlexible benefits tailored to your needs \nOngoing training and development, including support for professional memberships \n\nHow do I apply? \n\nWe can only accept online applications.
