About the Role

We’re looking for a detail‐driven procurement professional who thrives in a fast‐paced environment and enjoys working with large datasets. This role supports high‐volume purchasing activity, ensuring accurate pricing, clean data, and smooth coordination between internal teams and external suppliers.

You’ll work closely with internal requestors, senior buyers, and vendors to keep materials flowing, orders accurate, and information organized. Success in this position requires strong analytical skills, comfort with ERP data, and the ability to manage a steady stream of transactional work without sacrificing accuracy.

What You’ll Do

  • Process a high volume of material and service requisitions while ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
  • Review incoming requests for completeness, resolve discrepancies, and clarify requirements with internal stakeholders.
  • Validate pricing using historical spend, vendor catalogs, contracts, and prior purchase data.
  • Issue purchase orders to approved suppliers and ensure alignment with specifications and timelines.
  • Communicate with vendors to confirm order acceptance, delivery dates, and fulfillment status.
  • Monitor open orders, follow up proactively, and support on‐time delivery expectations.
  • Provide clear updates to internal teams regarding order status, delays, or changes.
  • Assist with expediting when delivery schedules shift or risks arise.
  • Resolve issues related to pricing discrepancies, invoice mismatches, delivery problems, or vendor claims.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records within ERP and procurement systems.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, operations, and finance teams as needed.
  • Support reporting on requisition volume, cycle times, pricing trends, and supplier performance.
  • Perform additional duties to support procurement and supply chain objectives.

What You Bring

  • Ability to manage a high volume of transactional work with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience working with large datasets, including exporting, cleaning, and organizing data from ERP systems.
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, data scrubbing, filtering, lookups).
  • Familiarity with Power BI or similar reporting tools is a plus.
  • Understanding of procurement processes, pricing validation, and vendor coordination.
  • Strong communication skills for working with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Ability to identify discrepancies, delivery risks, and data inconsistencies.
  • Experience supporting RFQ processes.
  • Strong organizational and time‐management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Experience with ERP, procurement, or supply chain systems .

Education & Experience

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • If no degree, relevant professional experience is required.
  • Prior experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or high‐volume administrative processing is .
