About the Company
We design and deliver innovative food packaging solutions for brands and co-packers. We are a small, fast-moving team that values people who think strategically, execute daily, and collaborate across operations, quality, sales, and finance.
The impact you will make
-
Own purchasing and core supply chain from demand planning through inbound logistics and inventory.

Source and manage films, resins, laminates, labels, corrugate, forming webs, and contract services.

Run RFQs and negotiations, deliver best total cost, quality, terms, and supply continuity.

Convert MRP to POs in NetSuite, manage contracts and pricing, maintain accurate item and vendor data.

Build a practical demand and supply plan with Sales and Operations, set safety stocks and lead times.

Coordinate inbound freight, carriers, and 3PLs, resolve delivery issues, optimize mode selection and spend.

Partner with Quality on specifications, COAs, non-conformance disposition, and change control.

Track and improve KPIs, OTIF, PPV, supplier PPM, inventory turns, lead time, data integrity, freight cost.

Monitor polymer and resin markets using sources such as ICIS and Platts, advise on resin factors and pass-through mechanisms.

Drive value engineering, alternate materials, and process improvements.
What you will bring
-
5+ years in procurement and supply chain within manufacturing, food or packaging .
-
Hands-on NetSuite experience (MRP, purchasing, inventory, vendor management, item masters).

Proven sourcing and negotiation results with measurable cost and service outcomes.

Planning and inventory skills, safety stocks, reorder points, service versus working capital.

Working knowledge of packaging platforms (rigid, flexibles, forming webs).

Awareness of polymer markets and price indices (ICIS, Platts) and understanding of resin factors and pass-through mechanisms.

Strong analytics in Excel and ERP reporting, familiarity with PPV, EOQ, inventory turns, and freight optimization.

Clear communication and teamwork with Operations, Quality, Sales, and Finance.

Comfortable being both strategic and hands on in a small company.

Experience with carriers and 3PLs.

Continuous improvement mindset (Lean, Kaizen).

Certifications such as CPSM or CSCP.
