ROLE: PROCESS TIME ANALYST
Job Description
Marathon Electric LLC is part of WEG Group, a leader in the worldwide production of electric motors. Marathon supplies products into a large variety of industrial motors applications. We are seeking a Process Time Analyst for our Wausau, Wisconsin manufacturing facility. This role will conduct process time analysis, find points of improvement in the machine load and start projects that will improve productivity. As part of the Marathon team, you will interface with all levels and functions in our facility.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform time analysis at any work station in the Shop Floor, aiming to detect, upgrade or suggest changes/corrections on machine loads;
- Develop/Analyze spreadsheets and graphs, establishing necessary and available hours, cycle times and setup times for every part produced in all different departments;
- Help perform line balancing, avoiding bottle necks and obtaining the highest productivity within the operators;
- Develop process diagrams, specifying the sequences to execute the job (man/machine) always aiming to maximize the productivity;
- Perform and analyze OEEs and describing operational steps and necessary materials, aiming on feeding the leadership with data to make decisions;
- Suggest new methods or time changes, following it’s implementation and also updating in the system;
- Perform audits and correction on current processes as well as create processes and take times for new items to be produced.
Skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering
- At least 3 years related working experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication
- Lean and/or Six Sigma and Process FMEA
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
- Expertise in data analysis, critical thinking and creative problem solving
- Advanced skills in Solid Works and AutoCAD drawing
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Specially Excel)
- General knowledge of workforce time analysis
