Zenith Are working with our client who are a Manufacturer based here in the North East and have an opportunity for a Process Technician working within Production.\n\nAre you working in a production role and ready to take the next step in your career Our we are looking for a Process Technician to join our team and play a key role in improving processes, driving efficiency, and supporting manufacturing excellence.\n\nThe Role\n\nThis is a hands-on, problem-solving role where you'll:\n\n * Support production by resolving process and performance issues\n\n * Investigate root causes of problems and implement corrective actions\n\n * Apply Lean principles and improvement tools (8D, 5Y, Ishikawa) to drive continuous improvement\n\n * Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams\n\n * Implement error-proofing (Poka Yoke) and process control improvements\n\n * Create standards SOPs, 5s, CLs, CILs\n\nCandidate Requirements\n\n * Experience in a manufacturing or production environment\n\n * Knowledge and practical use of Lean principles and continuous improvement tools\n\n * Strong problem-solving mindset and proactive approach\n\n * Ability to read drawings and understand process specifications\n\n * Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team attitude\n\nFormal qualifications (HNC, NVQ, etc.) are desirable but not essential - experience and attitude matter most.\n\nWhat's On Offer\n\n * Competitive pay\n\n * Fixed term maternity cover 37 hours per week\n\n * 24 days holiday (flexible)\n\n * Modern working environment\n\n * Training and career progression opportunities\n\nIf you are interested in being considered for this vacancy please click apply now
