Process Technician:
day and night shift
- plastic injection molding
- troubleshooting
- mold set up/change
In this hands-on position, you'll work closely with Shift Supervisors, Operators, and Engineers to
set up and optimize molds, troubleshoot equipment, and maintain tooling. Your expertise will
directly impact product quality, efficiency, and the overall success of our manufacturing
operations.
Key Responsibilities:
● Follow and enforce all safety, health, and quality standards.
● Set up, optimize, and change over molds and related equipment.
● Monitor and adjust molding processes to ensure consistent product quality.
● Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime and scrap.
● Collaborate with Supervisors and Operators to train and develop team skills.
● Document process changes and communicate updates to Engineering.
● Support efficiency goals by reducing setup time and improving cycle times.
Qualifications:
● 3+ years of hands-on experience processing and troubleshooting injection molding
equipment.
● Knowledge of mold design best practices (required).
● Experience with large part injection molding ().
● Light maintenance skills with ability to support equipment upkeep.
● Strong computer, documentation, and communication skills (verbal and written)
Work Environment & Expectations:
● Working in office and manufacturing environment
● Standing in excess of 7.5 hours per day in an environment that may be hot, noisy, and
dirty.
● Serve as a technical expert and mentor to Operators and team members.
