Process Technician (Blow Molding Equipment)

Up to $50/hour (based on experience)

Travel Required: Approximately 60–70% (Domestic & International)

About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled Process Technician to support the setup, start‐up, optimization, and troubleshooting of blow molding equipment. This is a hands‐on, high‐impact role where your technical expertise directly improves machine performance and customer success.

What You’ll Do

As a Process Technician, you will play a key role in bringing blow molding equipment online and keeping it running at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform equipment start‐up, commissioning, and optimization at customer and company locations

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and process‐related issues

Analyze schematics, machine data, and process parameters to diagnose issues and improve performance

Optimize processing settings to ensure product quality, efficiency, and repeatability

Install retrofits, perform field modifications, rebuilds, and equipment upgrades

Provide technical support via phone and on‐site service visits

Train customers and internal teams on machine operation, safety, maintenance, and processing best practices

Support engineering and application teams with testing, process development, and project execution

Document work performed through detailed service and technical reports

Support continuous improvement initiatives using data and performance metrics

Travel up to 60–70% to support customers and projects
