About the Role
The Process Technician position focuses on supporting solar module manufacturing operations. This entry-level role includes full training and involves assisting with maintaining stable production processes, identifying operational issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or Associate degree (technical background is a plus)
- No prior solar experience required— manufacturing experience
- Basic computer skills (Excel, data entry, etc.)
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
- Good attention to detail and strong sense of responsibility
- Willingness to work on-site and adapt to shift schedules if needed
Qualifications:
- Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production environments
- Basic mechanical or hands-on skills
- Familiarity with quality inspection or production processes
Responsibilities:
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to perform daily production tasks
- Monitor production processes and report any abnormalities (e.g., defects, equipment issues)
- Assist Engineers in troubleshooting and basic process adjustments
- Record production data and complete reports accurately
- Perform basic visual inspections (e.g., appearance, simple defect identification)
- Support equipment checks and routine maintenance activities
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment (5S)
- Participate in training programs and continuously learn new skills
