Process Technician
Shift: 3rd 10pm - 6am
Pay: $22
Are you experienced in plastic manufacturing and passionate about quality, safety, and optimization?
Join our team as a Shift Process Technician and take the lead on improving production processes, ensuring top-tier product quality, and supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in the plastics industry or equivalent
Experience in optimizing blow molding products or similar equipment
Understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Familiarity with quality control standards and EHS guidelines (IATF)
Proficient in measurement tools (e.g., calipers, gauges)
Basic MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Must be in current role for at least 6 months
No active disciplines on file
Responsibilities:

Optimize machine setups to meet quality standards

Monitor mold performance and ensure alignment with process playbook controls

Coordinate and support operators with production, retooling, and machine adjustments

Instruct team on quality expectations and control procedures

Assign and assist with machine, tool, and part repairs

Ensure all EHS procedures are followed and lead safety initiatives

Identify safety gaps and lead near-miss analysis

Drive continuous improvement efforts

Ensure smooth production flow through quality assurance after machine optimizations

Accurately document shift events, update process playbooks, and manage change points

Complete and follow up on PCRs as applicable

Perform other duties as assigned
