Our client is actively seeking a 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift Injection Molding- Process Technician at their plant in Greenville, South Carolina.
The ideal candidate should be confident troubleshooting Injection Molding machines and have 3+ years process experience in the automotive industry.
Summary:
As an Injection Molding - Process Technician, you'll be responsible for identifying and overseeing production machinery parameters, monitoring product/batch quality, and ensuring the production process runs smoothly and efficiently.
Tasks:

Trouble shoot issues on injection molding machines, robots, and any Aux. equipment to maintain quality and flow of production.

Must be able to establish a new process, set molds, program robots, and start machines. (ranging from 214 ton to 618 ton.)

Sepro & ARI robots.

Support daily production as required to ensure operation at budgeted rates.

Provide daily process support to eliminate quality concerns.

Provide daily process support to eliminate reliability concerns.

Provide daily process support to eliminate housekeeping concerns.

Demonstrated leadership skills, teamwork skills, communication skills and decision making skills.

Responsible for performing work to ensure quality and conformity to product requirements.

Must be proficient in various robotic applications.
Requirements:
- 3+ years' experience with injection molding tools required.
- 3+ years of automotive industry process experience required.
- Must know how to troubleshoot injection molding machines and tools.
- Understand how to set parameters.
- Experience with electric IM Machines .
- Strong technical knowledge.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be able to communicate in English.
- Intermediate computer skills - MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Ability to maintain excellent written/electronic quality documentation.
- Ability to learn computer-based support system.
