Process Technician\n\nLocation: Northampton\n\nContract Type: Part-Time (Minimum 25 hours per week)\n\nSalary:\n\n£12.21/hour (Weekdays)\n\n£18.32/hour (Saturdays)\n\n£24.42/hour (Sundays)\n\nImpact Recruitment is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company based in Northampton. We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically adept Process Technician to join their growing team. This role is ideally suited to individuals with experience in chemical handling, precision work, and process-based environments.\n\nThis hands-on role involves a combination of technical process control, quality assurance, and practical application - perfect for professionals who take pride in maintaining high production standards.\n\nWorking Hours:\n\nMonday to Friday: Minimum of 5 hours per day between 12pm - 5pm\n\nOptional early start from 7am for those seeking additional hours\n\nRegular overtime available, including most Saturdays and up to 1-2 Sundays per month\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nConduct precise handling and application of products, including the safe use of chemicals in accordance with COSHH regulations\nPerform visual and technical inspections of components before and after processing\nAccurately apply and remove masking materials in line with technical specifications\nOperate handheld tools and spray guns (prior experience )\nMaintain comprehensive records of processes, inspections, and production data\nUndertake basic maintenance of tools and equipment\nEnsure safe manual handling techniques when dealing with delicate or sensitive components\nCollaborate with team members to maximise efficiency and workflow\nAdhere to strict health, safety, and cleanliness protocols at all times \n\nCandidate Requirements:\n\nExperience or training in working safely with chemicals (COSHH) is highly desirable\nFirst Aid certification is advantageous\nKnowledge of manual handling safety practices\nProven experience in quality control and detail-focused production work\nPrevious use of spray guns or precision dispensing tools beneficial\nExcellent manual dexterity and attention to detail\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment \n\nPlease note: Due to the nature of the contracts held by our client, successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS Check prior to commencement.\n\nIf you feel you meet the above criteria and are interested in this opportunity, please submit your CV for consideration.\n\nDue to the high volume of applications, if you have not received a response within 48 hours, please assume that your application has not been successful on this occasion
