Process Scientist\n\nLocation: Runcorn\nContract: Full-time, on-site (5 days per week)\n\nShape the Future of Manufacturing with Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions\n\nAt Saint-Gobain, we design, manufacture, and distribute materials and solutions that improve the comfort, performance, and sustainability of buildings. As part of our Interior Solutions division, you'll help deliver innovative products and processes that support safer, more sustainable spaces.\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe're looking for a Process Scientists to join our plant-based teams at Runcorn (Isover).

This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between central scientists and manufacturing teams, ensuring that new product development (NPD) and process improvements are successfully implemented on-site.\n\nWhat you'll do\n\nLead and support NPD projects at the plant.\nCarry out testing and trials on production lines.\nAnalyse data and results from plant trials to drive improvements.\nInvestigate and resolve quality issues on the production lines.\nWork directly on plant operations, including sampling materials and conducting analytical tests.\nUse on-site laboratories for product and process testing.\nIntroduce and implement new scientific methods for product performance into plant operations.\nTechnical report writingWhat we're looking for\n\nDegree in Science, Chemistry, or a related discipline.\nExperience in manufacturing environments (24/7 operations highly desirable).\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to write clear technical reports and communicate findings.\nFamiliarity with plant-based processes and laboratory equipment.\nProactive approach to health, safety, and continuous improvement.What we offer\n\nCompetitive salary and benefits package.\nOpportunities for professional development and career growth.\nA supportive environment focused on safety, sustainability, and innovation.Why join us?\n\nYou'll play a key role in improving product capability and supporting innovation at two major manufacturing sites.
