Process Safety Engineer  - The Details



Salary up to £75,000 DOE

Job Type: Permanent   Process Safety Engineer - Requirements 



Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience in process safety management within the chemical or manufacturing sectors.

Strong knowledge of HAZOP, LOPA, risk analysis, and process safety regulations (e.g. COMAH).

Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

A proactive, analytical mindset with a commitment to risk reduction and operational excellence.  Process Safety Engineer - Responsibilities 



Champion and support process safety initiatives across our chemical manufacturing facilities.

Lead HAZOP studies, risk assessments, and safety audits to identify, evaluate, and control process risks.

Ensure full compliance with UK regulatory standards and company's global process safety protocols.

Partner with cross-functional teams—including operations, engineering, and technical services—to drive continuous improvement.

Support and lead incident investigations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.

Develop and maintain safety procedures, training materials, and documentation to promote a robust safety culture. About Us
