CK Group are recruiting for a Process Operator, to join a materials manufacturing company, at their site based in Oldbury, on a permanent basis.
This is a shift based role. The hours are 7am to 7pm, with a pattern of two days, two nights, then four days off.
Salary:
This role offers a salary of £50,000, inclusive of shift allowance.
The Company:
Our client is a materials manufacturer specialising in manufacturing and development of advanced composite materials for aerospace applications.
This role is located in Oldbury.
Process Operator Role:
Materials handling using Fork Lift Truck, lifting aids and manual handling. Materials include drums, kegs and IBCs of raw materials, intermediate, finished products and waste.
Plant process monitoring including sampling and basic analysis as appropriate.
Monitor of product quality to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
Assist in troubleshooting process operations, including equipment and process related issues.
Have involvement in workgroup development activities.To be successful in this role you will need:
GCSEs grades A-C (or the equivalent). Maths and English are essential to allow understanding of technical instructions and complete the production records.
Strong communication skills, ability to work well in a collaborative team environment, follow technical instructions and adhere to Health and Safety & Environmental procedures.
Previous experience driving a Forklift truck would be beneficial, however full training will be given if required for a successful candidate.
Appreciation of the risks associated with the handling of hazardous chemicals, conducting chemical processes at plant scale.Apply:
