Acting as an extension of their recruitment teams, we connect them with skilled interim and temporary professionals, fostering workplaces where everyone can contribute and succeed.\n \nOn behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs we are looking for a Process Operator for a 12 months contract based in Ansty, Coventry.\n \nPlease note this role is going to be on a 3 shift rotating pattern that will include mornings, afternoons and nights.\nJob description - the role\n\nPurpose of the role: \nThe role involves the process of fan case components and associated sub-components through Bonding Valuestream across multiple processes including paint spraying, internal panel bonding, void filling and kevlar wrapping.

Working in an established team to maintain quality, flow rate and customer deliveries.\n\nWhat you'll do:\n\nApplication of paint & protective coatings\nVoid filling internal areas of fan case and associated subcomponents\nBonding of internal acoustic panels\nKevlar Wrap operations.\nBe able to read and interpret manufacturing engineering drawings, technical instructions, and written specifications.\nSelf-certification inspection of operations to ensure they meet quality standard/ drawing requirements.\nMaintain 5S and good housekeeping standards within work area.\nContribute to the continuous improvement of the process/ cellThe skills you'll need:\n\nGood understanding of paint spraying fundamentals\nNVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) AND Time-served Apprenticeship both within a mechanical engineering discipline\nBasic IT literacy including understanding of MES booking system.\n\nUnderstanding of local and regional HSE Standards and regulations\n\nPrevious experience working in a role requiring good use of hand skills\n\nEngineering background (aerospace, railway or automotive)\n\nNext steps\n\nWe will only accept workers operating via an Umbrella or PAYE engagement model.\n\nIf you are interested in applying for this position and meet the criteria outlined above, please click the link to apply and we will contact you with an update in due course.\n\nAMS, a Recruitment Process Outsourcing Company, may in the delivery of some of its services be deemed to operate as an Employment Agency or an Employment Business
