Job Description

We are seeking a Process Mapping Analyst to join a University and lead structured workshops focused on process mapping and diagnostics. The role involves identifying inefficiencies, eliminating duplication, and uncovering opportunities for automation within research study setup processes. This initiative is a critical part of a wider strategy to streamline study setup and enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver process mapping workshops with governance and support teams
• Document and analyse current workflows across commercial, non-commercial, and observational studies
• Identify critical pathways, bottlenecks, and opportunities for streamlining
• Develop clear process maps, readiness assessments, and improvement recommendations
• Collaborate with imaging, pharmacy, and finance leads to ensure interoperability and regional alignment

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Expertise in process mapping, workflow analysis, and service redesign.
• Familiarity with NHS or research governance structures.
• Strong facilitation and analytical skills.
• Ability to translate complex processes into clear, visual representations.

Day rate: £275 - £300

Contract type: temporary, 5 months

Working hours: 0.8 FTE (part-time, 4 days per week)

Location: London (hybrid working)
