Job Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $75,000 – $115,000 (based on experience)
About the Role
We are seeking a results-driven Industrial Process Engineer to join a growing manufacturing team. This role is focused on driving efficiency, improving equipment reliability, and optimizing production processes through data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimize machine parameters, centerline settings, and production setpoints to improve throughput, quality, and efficiency
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across changeovers, sanitation, tooling, and workflows using Lean Manufacturing and TPM principles
- Analyze equipment performance and CMMS (M+) data to identify trends, root causes, and reliability improvements
- Improve equipment uptime and reduce scrap through enhanced preventive maintenance strategies and spare parts planning
- Collaborate with Maintenance teams to strengthen PM programs, repair procedures, and overall asset reliability
- Support capital projects, including Commissioning, Validation, and Startup (CVS) activities
- Evaluate and implement automation, process control, and cost-reduction improvements
- Develop and standardize OEM and vendor documentation for training and operational readiness
- Serve as a technical liaison for OEMs, coordinating troubleshooting and service support
- Coach and mentor cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and defect elimination
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Engineering Technology)
- 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing process improvement, reliability engineering, or industrial engineering
- Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting CMMS data and performance metrics
- Experience with SAP, PLC systems, AutoCAD (or similar CAD software), and shop floor systems
- Background in food manufacturing or packaging environments
- Solid understanding of plant operations, processing, and packaging equipment
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and deliver measurable results
