EAPC's Industrial Services division is seeking a Process Engineering Student . This position would provide support to the Industrial Services Program Director and the Process Engineer on various industrial manufacturing projects.
As an IS Process Engineering Student , you will:
- Work as an integrated member of a multi-disciplinary, in-house team of engineers, architects, and drafting specialists working primarily with AutoCAD, Sugars, ChemCad, Aspen, and Pipe Flo for process modeling.
- Assist in solving problems with industrial processes, manufacturers, sub-contractors, suppliers, and customers.
- Assist in developing financial models for estimating project payback for designed process improvements.
- Assist in planning, designing, and implementing cost-effective projects to help improve safety, reliability, and revenue for a multitude of heavy industrial clients.
- Assist in the development of equipment, contract, and performance specifications
Qualifications:
- Current engineering student with at least 2 years completed in a Chemical Engineering curriculum
- Interest in agricultural, power, and processing systems
- Design experience is a plus
- Must be proficient in MS Office and basic office equipment
- Valid driver's license
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
This position will report directly to the Industrial Services Program Director and will work as an integrated member of a multi-disciplinary, in-house team. This is a non-benefitted position with variable hours contingent on capacity and availability.
