The company has facilities in Oconto Falls, Wisconsin, Franklin Virginia and Duluth, Minnesota. The company operates five tissue machines and produces bath tissue, paper towels, and napkin parent rolls primarily for the Away-from-Home segment of the North American tissue market.
Job Description
The company is seeking a highly motivated Process Engineer to join our team at our tissuemanufacturing facility.
• This role provides technical expertise and operational support to optimizemanufacturing processes, with a particular focus on recycled fiber systems and tissue mill operations.
• The Process Engineer will work cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, EHS, and quality teams to improve process efficiency, troubleshoot production issues, implement best practices, and support cost-effective, safe, and sustainable manufacturing practices.
• The ideal candidate will bring a hands-on approach, a strong foundation in processengineering, and a passion for continuous improvement in a fast-paced industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities
• Promote and adhere to all plant safety policies and procedures, including proper use ofPPE.
• Support plant goals by implementing management directives related to safety, quality,productivity, and cost.
• Review and maintain engineering documentation, including P&IDs, system designs, andequipment specs.
• Lead or support troubleshooting of production issues, including bottlenecks, equipmentfailures, and product quality deviations.
• Analyze, design, and optimize manufacturing processes in recycled paper plant and tissueproduction.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement tools such as Centerlines, RootCause Analysis (RCA), and JSAs.
• Coordinate process changes and improvements with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical support in fiber recycling, wet lap, and tissue manufacturing processes.
• Participate in or lead cross-functional projects, process upgrades, or capital initiatives.
• Uphold and model the company’s Guiding Principles and Core Values.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Pulp and Paper Science, or related technicaldiscipline.
• 5+ years of experience in paper manufacturing, fiber recycling, or similar process
industry .
• Strong knowledge of process troubleshooting, material & energy balances, and
equipment sizing.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze technical data, interpret trends, and implement effectivesolutions.
• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work across allorganizational levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); exposure to DCS systems or
manufacturing software .
• Ability to write and present technical reports, SOPs, and project recommendations.
• Experience leading or participating in process improvement initiatives, ideally in a Lean or Six Sigma environment.
JOB INFORMATION
Position Title: Process Engineer
Number of Job positions available: 1 for each position
Job Type: Full Time/salaried.
Starting Salary: The proposed salary range is $65,000–$70,000.
Workweek: Standard office hours are typically from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday throughFriday; however, these hours may vary depending on the specific location and the level ofsupport or issues that arise at the mill.
PPE: Personal Protection Equipment will be provided by the company at no cost.
Qualifications
Criminal Background Check? Yes, selected applicant must pass a CBC beforedeparture from the place of recruitment to the place of employment. CBC will be conducted through the recruitment company.
Drug Test? Yes, selected applicant must pass a DT before departure from the place ofrecruitment to the place of employment. The DT will be conducted through the recruitmentcompany.
The company does not accept a positive result for cannabis use at any of the locations. Additionally, the company conducts a 7-panel drug test as part of their pre-employment process.
English Level Requirement: Good Communication level English (C1)
Drivers License: Yes, required to be able to use a company vehicle. USA’s driving record.

TRANSPORTATION FROM PLACE OF RECRUITMENT TO PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT
Once visa or change of employer is approved, the first-time flight travel (economy class) to the business location will be provided by the company.

TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM WORKSITE (s):
Transportation: A company vehicle will also be provided during this initial period of 3 months. Worker must secure own vehicle prior to the 3 month expiration. The company will provide a car and fuel allowance for three months.
HOUSING
Housing for the first three months will be provided to help new hires settle in. The housing includes individual rooms in an apartment with utilities, Wi-Fi, and coin-operated laundry.
