Process Engineer | Walker, MI
Salary Range: $75,000 - $109,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
- Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
- Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and scrap.
- Design, test, and commission new process equipment and systems.
- Conduct process capability studies and statistical analysis to monitor and improve performance.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams on new product introductions and process transfers.
- Ensure processes comply with safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in process optimization, statistical process control (SPC), and root cause analysis.
- Demonstrated understanding and application of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
- Proficiency with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Hysys, CHEMCAD) and data analysis tools.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or ERP integration
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM)
