Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Process Project Engineer to lead and support capital engineering projects from concept through commissioning. This role will be responsible for process design, project scope development, equipment installation, startup, and project execution while ensuring alignment with business objectives, safety requirements, and operational excellence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead process engineering and capital project activities from project initiation through startup and commissioning.
- Develop project charters, business cases, scope documents, and execution strategies.
- Create and review PFDs, P&IDs, equipment specifications, and process documentation.
- Coordinate procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning activities.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and risk mitigation plans.
- Develop Statements of Work (SOW), RFPs, and contractor deliverables.
- Lead stakeholder meetings and communicate project progress to site leadership and steering committees.
- Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, reliability, and cost savings.
- Support CAPEX planning, cost estimation, and financial justification activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and engineering standards.

Qualifications:
\n

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related Engineering discipline.
- 7+ years of experience in Process Engineering and Capital Project Execution.
- Strong experience with PFDs, P&IDs, pumps, valves, and piping systems.
- Demonstrated success managing installation, commissioning, and startup activities.
- Experience developing SOWs, RFPs, project scopes, and business cases.
- Strong understanding of risk assessment, project controls, and stakeholder management.
- PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent certification .
