About the Role:

This position is located in Glenwillow, Ohio.

Job Summary:

Complete ownership of an internal manufacturing process or processes within our manufacturing site located in Glenwillow, Ohio.

Responsibilities:

• Document and improve daily work instructions to include design sheets (travelers)
• Develop training documents to standardize onboarding of new employees with expected training timelines.
• Work with operators to identify improvement opportunities around quality and productivity.
• Work with Plant Management to develop KPIs to drive safety, quality and productivity.
• Work with Maintenance to develop comprehensive PM plan and schedule
• Promote a clean and safe workplace.
• Work with the Product Engineering team on new product development to include the running of samples to ensure we have a working process when launched and a feedback loop when process improvements are made that may impact the design of the product.
• Evaluate and recommend new equipment (technology) to enhance safety while improving quality and productivity.
• Submit capital plans to add additional equipment to meet future growth plans.
• Coordinate with outside vendors, consultants, SMEs as needed.

Education & Experience:

• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Master’s degree .
• A minimum 7 plus years’ experience manufacturing industries.
• Black Belt certified is . Demonstrated project success.
• Experience in continuous improvement projects

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience in manufacturing shop floor transformation
• Previous experience in making changes to the workplace
• Experience with SyteLine business software is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication
