As a Senior Process Engineer or Process Engineer within the Water Technical Team, you will support the technical and process activities across our existing municipal wastewater and industrial water operational contracts, existing Technical Services contracts and the development of new contracts in conjunction with our business development teams. The role will require travel across the UK.\n\nThe role will drive continuous improvement at our existing contracts and value engineering through innovative solutions.\n\nWhat we can offer you;\n\nAccess to our company pension scheme\nDiscounts on everything from groceries to well-known retailers\nAccess to a range of resources to support your physical, mental and financial health; so you can lean on us whenever you need to\n24-hour access to a virtual GP, 365 days a year, for you and family members in your household\nOne paid day's leave every year to volunteer and support your community \nOngoing training and development opportunities, allowing you to reach your full potential \n\nWhat will you be doing?\n\nTroubleshooting operational processes, process validation, utilising modelling tools and process calculations to predict performance, create business cases and demonstrate project potential.\nCommunicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences using varied methods, drafting compelling proposals and reports, and presenting confidently at all levels from technical reviews to client meetings.\nPlan workload autonomously, managing multiple complex projects with competing deadlines while providing expert technical leadership that directly impacts business performance.\nProvide technical leadership and mentorship to process engineers, graduate engineers, operators and performance analysts.\nBuild Veolia's reputation as a 'Water Technical Expert' by delivering innovative, cost-effective solutions, leading technical workshops and negotiations, and representing the company at industry events.\nEmbed sustainability principles into all water operations, optimising for energy, chemical usage, and resource recovery while quantifying environmental benefits to align with Veolia's Depollution, Decarbonizing, and Water Stewardship goals. \n\nWhat are we looking for?\n\nDegree in a relevant engineering or technical subject (e.g., Chemical Engineering or similar disciplines).\nStrong knowledge and demonstrable experience in operational wastewater treatment process control and optimisation, including experience working with UK water companies.\nExperience in applying value engineering and optimisation principles to create cost-effective and innovative solutions.\nOrganised and consistently meets project deadlines.\nFull UK driving license and ability to travel across the UK, sometimes at short notice.What's next?\n\nApply today, so we can make a difference for to come.\n\nWe're proud to have been named as one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work for three consecutive years in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
