Process Engineer - Machining in Harvey

Job Description

DUTIES: Responsibilities include focus on the design, operation control, and optimization of machining processes required for complex weldments through the aid of systematic computer-based methods. Deep understanding of machining related equipment as well as proficiency in interpretation of applicable geometric dimensioning and tolerance standards. Knowledgeable in machining parameters as they pertain to speeds, feeds and tooling required to meet both internal, customer and industry specific standards. Effective communication of process scope and/or efficiency-related process initiatives between other team members across multiple shifts. Support requests pertinent to efficient manufacturing and shop flow in a timely matter. Assure adherence to OSHA, Quality, Industry and Customer specific standards during all phases of process evaluation and implementation. Work closely with outside tooling support to assure effective and efficient machining process. Play a key role in training and implementation of new processes as well as support an environment of continuous improvement. Enforcement of shop rules and safety regulations. Some overtime and travel could be required.

REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma/GED; Degree in Engineering and work-related experience .
