We are looking for a Process Engineer (m/f/d)

SaarGummi is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high-quality sealing systems for the automotive industry. Our customers include almost all well-known automotive manufacturers. With more than 5500 employees, we currently operate in Asia, Europe, North and South America. We attach particular importance to working in partnership with our customers and jointly developing tailored solutions from the initial idea through to implementation in the series production process.


Your tasks:

  • Definition of optimal process parameters
  • Process commissioning and process planning (layout, etc.)
  • Implementation of CIP projects
  • Implementation and evaluation of production trials
  • Weak point analysis of existing systems and processes, as well as the development of improvement concepts and responsibility for their implementation
  • Initiation of measures to ensure KPIs
  • Ensuring the availability of plant equipment
  • Training of operating personnel
  • Initiation of CIP measures


Your qualifications:

  • Completed degree as a Bachelor of Engineering or Master of Engineering
  • Alternatively: Further training as a master/technician with relevant professional experience
  • Extensive professional experience of at least 3 years
  • Professional experience in the analysis and implementation of process engineering projects
  • Ideally, relevant professional experience in the automotive industry
  • Regularly difficult special tasks (setting process parameters)
  • Experience in audit support as well as in reporting and follow-up in the automotive industry desirable
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Additional function-related training and further education (e.g., Machinery Directive, occupational safety and environmental regulations) desirable
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office and SAP
