Process Engineer | Jenison, MI
Salary Range: $74,000 - $108,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
- Design, implement, and monitor process control strategies and systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs, P&IDs, and work instructions.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams to scale new products and improve existing ones.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, equipment, and methodologies to enhance production.
- Ensure processes comply with safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- 2+ years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with process analysis tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, root cause analysis).
- Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Experience applying Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teams.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
- Knowledge of PLC programming or industrial automation systems
- Project management experience or certification (e.g., PMP)
