Process Engineer - Summer

Description

Dresser Utility Solutions is seeking a Process Engineer to join our team. The Process Engineering will perform engineering assignments designed to develop process engineering knowledge and experience associated with designing equipment, components, structures, or systems.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain process documentation (including organization SOPs, manufacturing work instructions, PFMEAs, process flow charts, training guides/documents).
• Times and movements analysis/improvements.
• Track metrics to discover areas for improvement and monitor implemented upgrades.
• Recommend and implement improvements and/or modifications to existing process documents.
• Recommend design modifications or process changes where justifiable by cost/design studies.
• Recommend and implement Improvements to existing tools fixtures.
• Communicate findings and proposals to manager.
• Provides thorough instructions for successful implementation of process changes.
• Perform other duties as required by Management.
• Collaborate with other functions, as required.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in an Engineering discipline.
• Minimum GPA requirement of 3.2.
• Working knowledge of the ISO 9001 Standard and knowledge of other QMS standards .
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing .
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, SharePoint, Outlook)
• Excellent decision making and Problem-solving skills.
• Strong Organization and Prioritization skills.
• Microsoft Teams knowledge is a plus.
