Job Description

Overview

We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist engineering consultancy for a Process Engineer to support tendering and project execution activities across complex process engineering projects. This role offers exposure to design, commissioning, and operational support within regulated, safety-critical environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Produce Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and heat & material balances
  • Perform process calculations and equipment sizing for treatment and injection systems
  • Support tendering and project delivery, including technical clarifications
  • Work to project schedules, deadlines, and client specifications
  • Collaborate within multi-disciplinary engineering teams
  • Provide technical support during commissioning and early operation phases
  • Apply ISO 9001:2015, risk management, and change control principles
  • Participate in health & safety activities and ensure compliant deliverables
  • Build evidence towards professional accreditation


Skills and Experience Required

  • Degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Chemical or Process Engineering
  • Professional membership of IChemE
  • Experience in process design, EPC, offshore, oil & gas, or water treatment projects
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills
  • Proficient with MS Office and engineering software tools
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to project teams
