Process Engineer

·       Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–4:30 pm

·       The job location is in Richardson, Texas 75081

·       Direct Hire

·       Salary Range: $60,000–$120,000 annually

 

Position Summary

The Process Engineer is responsible for ensuring that manufacturing processes and equipment are properly established, optimized, and maintained to support production goals related to cost, schedule, and quality. This role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on process improvement experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, production, and quality teams.

 

Responsibilities:

• Generate, revise, and maintain equipment and manufacturing work instructions

• Oversee manufacturing process and equipment validation/qualification (DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ)

• Develop and optimize process parameters using SPC tools

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and resolve manufacturing issues

• Establish methods to improve production processes for quality, cost, and schedule adherence

• Perform Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews as needed

• Provide input on board panelization and bare board manufacturing requirements

• Order custom tooling required for production

• Modify stencils and reflow profiles to improve manufacturability

• Create process flow routings for production

• Develop production documentation from customer files and standard manufacturing practices

• Implement engineering changes into production documentation

• Provide training on new or updated processes

• Develop working knowledge of the Made to Manage System to support production needs

• Maintain excellent written and verbal communication

• Manage multiple tasks and take on additional responsibilities as required

• Maintain strong attention to detail and organizational skills

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required)

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

• Ability to work with diverse groups and collaborate effectively

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, utilizing sound judgment

• Strong understanding of continuous improvement tools and methodologies

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and operating manuals

• Experience with process controls utilizing statistical techniques (DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ)

• Strong customer service mindset and client focus

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general productivity tools

• Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy
