Process Engineer

Buffalo, West Virginia

Contract | $42–$47 per hour

Reliance One, Inc. is hiring for our client for a Process Engineer to develop, plan, and optimize machining and assembly processes for the Powertrain department. This Process Engineer role is responsible for leading projects, ensuring process quality, and supporting production lines from concept through launch.

What you’ll be doing:

• Develop operating process plans to machine or assemble parts for the assigned area.
• Lead planning, procurement, installation, trial, and launch of engine/transmission machining or assembly lines.
• Create and maintain schedules and budgets for assigned areas.
• Develop and improve standard tools and benchmarks.
• Lead and participate in cross-functional working groups to achieve project goals.
• Visualize activity plans and schedules to facilitate quick consensus and secure project priorities.
• Analyze critical manufacturing issues and communicate root cause and countermeasure plans to stakeholders.

Qualifications – What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering or Engineering Technology, or 5+ years equivalent experience.
• Experience in process engineering, including schedule and budget management (1 year required / 3 years ).
• Experience in planning, implementation, and production support for mass production lines >9K units per month (1 year required / 3 years ).
• AutoCAD experience, including the ability to read, interpret, and modify drawings (1 year required / 3 years ).
• 3D CAD experience, including the ability to read and interpret models (1 year required / 3 years ).
