Job Title: Fluidics/Process Engineer III

Location: Atlanta, GA

Work Schedule: Onsite, 5 days per week (35 hours per week)

Job Description

We are seeking a Fluidics Engineer III to contribute to the design and development of fluidic systems for foodservice and beverage equipment. This role focuses on fluid control and thermal management and requires strong collaboration across organizational boundaries. You will support the development of world-class products and perform assessment and launch activities within a structured stage-gate product development process.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical systems with an emphasis on fluidics and thermal performance.
  • Develop and execute tests on components and systems to investigate issues related to hardware, control systems, or software.
  • Support quality and reliability efforts, including DFMEA, test planning, instrumentation, Design of Experiments (DOE), and data analysis.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with software, electrical, manufacturing, and non-technical teams.
  • Gather user requirements, develop system-level specifications, and ensure designs meet performance, reliability, and manufacturability targets.
  • Lead or participate in structured problem-solving activities using methodologies such as 8D, A3, or DMAIC.
  • Create and maintain 3D models and engineering drawings using Creo, and manage engineering changes through Windchill.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited program in one of the following disciplines:
  • Mechanical Engineering (BSME, BSMET)
  • Aerospace Engineering (BSAeroE)
  • Biomedical Engineering
  • Mechatronics Engineering
  • Strong foundational knowledge in:
  • Thermodynamics
  • Fluid Dynamics
  • Electromechanical Systems
  • Strong technical communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
  • Working knowledge of quality engineering principles and design-for-reliability practices.


Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (MSME) or Aerospace Engineering (MSAeroE).
  • Experience with embedded software and electronics.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, and/or LabVIEW.
  • Familiarity with stage-gate product development methodologies.
