JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient Process Engineer to support and optimize manufacturing processes in our production environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, analyzing, and improving production processes for electronic components and assemblies to ensure high quality, yield, and efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
● Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for electronic components such as PCBs, SMT, THT, reflow soldering, or cleanroom assembly.
● Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement.
● Implement process controls and quality standards (e.g., IPC, ISO 9001, IATF 16949) to reduce defects and improve reliability.
● Work with cross-functional teams including design, quality, and maintenance to introduce new products and technologies (NPI).
● Develop work instructions, process documentation, and training materials for production personnel.
● Specify and validate new equipment, tools, and materials required for process improvements.
● Conduct failure analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
● Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies.
● Ensure compliance with ESD, RoHS, and other industry-specific regulations and standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
● Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
● 2+ years of experience in process engineering within an electronics manufacturing environment.
● Strong knowledge of electronics assembly processes (SMT, wave soldering, AOI, X-ray inspection, etc.).
● Proficiency with data analysis tools, SPC, and DOE.
● Familiarity with CAD tools, ERP/MES systems, and quality tools such as FMEA, 8D, and control plans.
● Experience with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt certification a plus).
● Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
● Strong communication and documentation skills.
WORKING ENVIROMENT
● Electronics manufacturing facility (cleanroom or controlled environment, depending on the product).
● May require standing for extended periods and working near machinery or delicate components.
● Use of PPE and adherence to ESD safety protocols is mandatory
