JOB SUMMARY
The Process Engineer is responsible for designing, optimizing, and improving manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production, high product quality, and cost-effectiveness. This role involves analyzing production systems, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing solutions to increase output while reducing waste and operational costs. The Process Engineer works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and continuous process improvements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and refine manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance overall process performance.
- Manage key performance metrics including Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and Process Capability (CPK).
- Monitor equipment performance and make recommendations to maintain or improve production goals.
- Support program NPI and meet defined program milestones.
- Providing training to technicians and/or technical operators.
- Documentation and/or development process/user requirements
- Analysis of process yield tracking & related improvement.
- Process-related spare parts control and management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in process engineering in electronic and hardware manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in process optimization.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving attitude
- Proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and industry regulations.
- Experiences in equipment management.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated successful cases of design & implementation of process automation.
