Process Engineer

We are looking for a Process Engineer for one of our clients with the following details:

Start date: ASAP

Location: Abu Dhabi Emirates, United Arab Emirates

Duration: 2 years

Qualification and Experience required:

• Bachelor or master's degree in chemical engineering
• 10 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas industry
• Substantial operating company experience (oil and gas operators), with field experience, is required
• Midstream and downstream experiences is a plus (refining, petrochemical)
• Expertise in steady state and dynamic process simulations and modelling with industry-standard software such as HYSYS, Aspen, Symmetry, ProMax and others
• Should have worked with AVEVA, Yokogawa, Inprocess, or any other OTS platforms
• Familiarity with data analytics, AI, and machine learning
• Deployed a digital twin for any process facility

Activities:

• Will be responsible for monitoring the operations of our systems, including quality and compliance. Should also be able to recommend improvements to the process through the tracking of metrics and reporting of data. Should have strong technical abilities to succeed in this role.
