Process Engineer

Scope:
We are seeking a Process Engineer with a strong background in casting or other metal manufacturing processes to join our dynamic on-site team. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of process engineering experience in a related industrial environment and be capable of driving process improvements, ensuring product quality, and collaborating cross-functionally with production, quality, and R&D teams.
Responsibilities:

Develop, optimize, and monitor manufacturing processes related to metal casting and/or direct chill casting.

Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve process issues.

Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement.

Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to achieve production goals.

Design and implement process improvements to enhance quality, throughput, and cost-efficiency.

Document standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process specifications.

Participate in or lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives and continuous improvement projects.

Support equipment installation, commissioning, and validation activities.

Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality regulations and standards.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, Manufacturing, or related field).

Minimum 4 years of process engineering experience in casting, direct chill casting, or metal manufacturing.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Proven track record of driving process improvements and delivering measurable results.

Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification ().

ASQ/CQE certification ().

Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA).

Proficiency in CAD and manufacturing software tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Minitab).
