Bard Manufacturing Company, Inc., a leader in the HVAC industry, has an opening for an experienced Process Engineer at our facility in Bryan, OH.

Scope and Responsibilities:
The Process Engineer is responsible for the process documentation as it pertains to manufacturing operations. Performs work measurement activities related to the assembly process to ensure labor and machine data is accurate. Recommend methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain work instructions.
- Investigate and implement any software that may improve the creation, accuracy, and maintenance of the work instructions.
- Perform time studies using the MOST system.
- Creates and enters the required method information in Epicor.
- Recommend methods for improving methods, labor utilization standards to promote efficient use of staff and facility
- Plan and establish sequence of operations to fabricate and assemble parts or products and to promote efficient utilization.
- Assist with the pre-pilot and pilot process, along with implementation of ECN's.
- Assist with the design layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency.
- Establishes good communication between departments, focusing on manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering.
- Review production schedules, engineering specifications, orders, and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities
- Provides a safe working environment for all projects and abides by all safety rules
The successful candidate will possess the following skills/abilities:
- Minimum Associate's degree in Industrial Engineering; or 3 years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience..
- Computer - industrial control software (Epicor), CADKEY, SolidWorks, LSI equipment, project management software, Microsoft Word and Excel
- MOST time study experience, or similar.
- Lean principles.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- The ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions
- The ability to choose the right mathematical methods or formulas to solve a problem.
- Ability to understand and build test for final assembly units on the auto run test equipment.
