$40/hour | Contract-to-Direct

Were seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Process Engineer to join our team in Bowling Green, KY. This position supports engine assembly operations by troubleshooting, improving throughput, and analyzing test processes to ensure world-class performance and product quality.

What Youll Do as a Process Engineer:

• Analyze engine test process data to detect build defects and improve throughput
• Monitor and adjust equipment performance across multiple assembly lines
• Troubleshoot issues using Bauer Test Systems, Cincinnati Test Systems, Uson Leak Testers, and Marposs Gage
• Program and evaluate torque controllers using Atlas Copco systems
• Respond to equipment downtime or performance issues in real-time
• Design tooling for production improvement initiatives
• Maintain and update Process Control Plans and PFMEA
• Coordinate spare parts ordering and equipment maintenance
• Direct UAW hourly personnel on process and equipment adjustments
• Attend team meetings, evaluate defects and downtime, and implement continuous improvement solutions
• Make judgment calls on engine test failures and determine next steps (e.g., teardown, repair, or approval)

Requirements for the Process Engineer Role:

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Hands-on engine testing experience, especially with Bauer Test Systems
• Proficiency with Atlas Copco torque programming and analysis
• Solid 3D modeling/design skills
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to respond quickly and effectively to production issues
