Responsibilities:

• Designs, characterizes, documents, and implements manufacturing process improvement initiatives
• Leads lean manufacturing initiatives to improve safety, reduce cycle times, improve productivity, improve process reliability, and improve customer satisfaction with respect to on-time delivery and quality
• Analyze current production procedures and standards to identify inefficiencies
• Performs process capability analysis and implements process control procedures
• Project management and research of new equipment and development
• Supervise Technicians and support them as required
• Monitor and maintain all preventative maintenance schedules/records
• Manage the development and sign off on all samples in manufacturing – following our feasibility process
• Project manager for all major changes in our process by department
• Manage inventory levels and requisitions for all replacement Manufacturing equipment parts
• Keep machines operational by coordinating maintenance and repair service with all technicians
• Facilitate preventive maintenance
• Ability to understand mechanical and electrical repairs as required
• Ability to travel an average of 10% to 20% - project requirements may dictate higher intervals
• Participate in ISO 9001:2015 and our IATF 16949 approval process
