POSITION SUMMARY: This position will direct all aspects of mechanical process pipe starting with estimating and carrying it through detailing, construction, and startup.Additionally, this position will oversee the engineering of concrete forms, shoring, and excavations whether it be performed internally or by an outside engineering firm.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:

• Leadership: Oversee one other individual and coordinate daily activities as a team.
• Detailing: Develop piping layouts, specify materials, and create detailed drawings using CAD software.
• Estimating: Utilize HeavyBid software to generate accurate cost estimates for process pipe, miscellaneous metals, and various other items.
• Communication: Engage with project teams to establish expectations, communicate progress, and resolve issues, ensuring satisfaction and project success.
• Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors, managing performance and maintaining high-quality standards.
• Operational Improvement:Contribute to the companys strategic and operational initiatives, driving improvements and growth in project delivery. Advancement of construction related technology.
• Project Management: Manage timelines, budgets, and resources for piping-related projects. Issue purchase orders and subcontracts.

QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools. Experience with HCSS HeavyBid is a plus.
• Strong understanding of piping materials, components, and fabrication techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Project management and organizational skills.

EXPERIENCE:

• Mid-level position with 5+ years of experience in construction and process pipe.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Frequent use of both desktop & laptop computers.
• Occasional standing, walking, climbing, bending, stooping, sitting.
• Work areas will vary from extreme heat to extreme cold.
• PPE will occasionally be required for hazardous work areas.
