PRIMARY EMPLOYMENT OBIECTIVES
Work with the operation team to develop and implement process improvement initiatives on
operational standards and business performance. Identify and implement new and improved
manufacturing methods driving increased yields, throughput, and manufacturability. Ensure that
process and procedures are in compliance with lSO regulations.


SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist operations in resolving equipment malfunctions, troubleshoot process problems, and
organize and implement preventative maintenance procedures.

- Determining the best method of manufacturing a product based on cost and other
considerations such as product quality or delivery timeframes.

- Actively participate in project and product review meetings and utilizing process knowledge to
provide recommendations for the manufacturability of the product.

- Conducting tests and monitoring the process performance throughout production

- Troubleshooting problems associated with manufacturing processes.

- Evaluating processes and equipment to ensure compliance with environmental and safety
regulations.

- Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and

trends; recommending actions.

- Assist in continuous improvement programs within and across the site via Lean principles,
concepts and tools to drive breakthrough performance in material flow and cost.

- Determining the best method of manufacturing a product based on cost and other
considerations such as product quality or delivery timeframe.

- Assist in driving the mapping of workflows, removing waste and non-value add activities while
recommending solutions to improve throughput and capacity.

- Establishing policies and procedures to ensure that manufacturing operations run smoothly and
efficiently

- Assist in developing appropriate operations metrics, lean strategy and execution to achieve
business objectives.

- Accountable for providing regular updates and follow-up activities to monitor the progress of achievement.

- Highlight opportunities and issues to operations, supply chain and operations leadership,
offering insights and recommendations for improvement.

- Assist in planning, analyzing, and budgeting activities in support of Manufacturing goals and
objectives to ensure that the proflt margins for specific products are aligned with Galvion's
targets

- Key member driving continuous improvement throughout all aspects of the business.

- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective action leading to reduced cost of poor
quality and improved yields

- Assist in timely KPI tracking on a daily/weekly/monthly basis as agreed with the BU leadership.

- Accountable for ensuring that production runs smoothly and that any issues that arise are
assessed and resolved or escalated with facts and data urgently,

- Assist engineering team, team leads, and supervisors to be effective problem-solvers, to
identify the source of a problem and develop a solution that resolves the issue.

- Work cross-functionally with other departments on a regular basis on improvements; achieving
goals, and other projects. .

- Utilize technical and operational background to determine list of requirements for the successful
transition of new products to manufacturing production.

- Define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and recommend
corrective actions to meet company and departmental objectives.


WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

- Associate's degree in related fleld or equivalent experience,
- Two years of experience but not required.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- Strong analytical background required.
- Practical experience following formal change control and configuration management
procedures.
- Ability to prioritize competing priorities in a fast pace environment.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Systems, a plus.
- Familiarity with reading and understanding Engineering Drawings and Product Specs
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook and Access
- Strong customer service mindset required.

Office & manufacturing-based environment.

Some travel may be required between Galvion facilities
