If that sounds like a challenge you want to help tackle, we want you to join our team! ResponsibilitiesResponsible for maintaining the Mexico design standards for process engineering updated and ensure compliance with TC Energy standards, Mexican regulation and lessons learned.Promote and support the compliance of the Safety RoadMap to strength the engineering as driver of the process safety culture and leadership in TC Energy. Interact with the different SME´s (Subject Matter Expert) to optimize and update the different process engineering standards and optimize the existing threat programs.Assure the successful execution of the process design engineering scope of the projects in time and cost, including A/B projects and Asset Integrity.Interact with Internal stakeholders across all Business Units, as well as outside contractors during the engineering development.Prepare technical scopes to contract engineering packages.Review of process design engineering developed by third party contractors (including stress analysis).Engineering support to the commercial and compliance team to ensure regulatory compliance.Support the design optimization initiatives as part of the PDS (Project Delivery Standard) process, including packetization and skid generation.Engineering development/review for filtration, low volume interconnections, pressure regulation, gas quality projects, etc.Participation/development of Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP).Process Flow Diagram (PFD) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) development.Participation in Management of Changes processes for technical (integrity, measurement, interconnection, filtration) projects.Work with other corporate representatives on various initiatives and investigationsManage preparation of and/or prepare monthly client status reports.Manage meetings and review meetings status.Ensure compliance with company and site safety policies.Performs other duties as assigned.Represent TC Energy on external industry committees.Minimum qualificationsBachelor of Science in Chemical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering.Between 7-10 years of experience in the Oil, Gas or Chemical sector, with pipeline and facility process engineering design.Strong knowledge in standard engineering techniques and procedures.Specialized knowledge in the process engineering area.Extensive knowledge of Mexico engineering practice, standards, rules, and regulations and proficiency in applying them to projects and operations.Detailed working knowledge of safety practices.Detailed working experience and skills in technical software application and interpretation.Demonstrated ability to perform process engineering including risk assessment practices.Demonstrated ability to perform the standards and procedures governance.Demonstrated ability to perform engineering projects implementation.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Must be proficient in the utilization of related softwares (Autocad, Aspen, AutoPIPE, SYNERGI GAS).Must be proficient in the use of basic computer software (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite).Fluent in Spanish and English.Preferred qualificationsExperience in operations is desired.Experience in temporary and permanent filtration projects.About our businessTC Energy is a leading energy infrastructure company in North America.
